Randy Travis Recovering, Still in Critical Condition

Singer is out of surgery.

Representatives for Randy Travis say the ailing star has been heavily sedated since emerging from surgery the evening of Wednesday, July 10, and is resting comfortably.

Doctors at Baylor Medical Center had been performing surgery following Randy’s stroke, in an effort to relieve pressure on the singer’s brain. He remains in critical condition, and his family asks for continued prayers and support.

Official updates on Randy’s condition will continue to be issued by the hospital or Randy’s press team.
