RANDY TRAVIS GETS HOLLYWOOD STAR

Country fans have known Randy Travis is a star for years - now Hollywood knows it, too. Next week Randy will travel to Los Angeles to receive his very own star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. Yesterday Randy told Nashville's The Tennessean, "It's a great honor, but I feel out of place. Most of the people are actors and I'm a singer first and foremost." But he is still acting. Randy revealed that he has been approached for a role in the upcoming Dukes of Hazzard movie and when he heard that pop icon Jessica Simpson had been cast as Daisy Duke, he joked, "Well that settles it right there. I'm gonna do it!"
