Randy Travis Files Countersuit Against Ex-Wife

Randy and Elizabeth Travis divorced in 2010.

Randy Travis has fired back at his former wife and manager Elizabeth "Lib" Travis, accusing her in a lawsuit of revealing "personal details" about him in order to damage his career. The charges were made in a countersuit filed earlier this month in federal court in Nashville.

The saga between the two began when they divorced in 2010, but that was hardly the ending. Earlier this year, Lib filed a suit alleging that she had been wrongfully terminated as Randy's manager.

Randy's current countersuit does not specify what "personal details" have been revealed.

The filing does include a copy of an August 2011 letter sent to Lib by a member of Randy's legal team demanding that she "cease and desist" discussing his personal and business affairs with third parties. Randy is also accusing his ex-wife of running up exorbitant travel expenses and asking for reimbursement.
