Randy Travis’ Ex-Wife Sues for Breach of Contract

Elizabeth, his longtime personal manager, claims Randy “interfered with” her ability to do her job.

According to Nashville Business Journal, Randy Travis' longtime manager (and ex-wife) Elizabeth Travis has filed a lawsuit against the singer, alleging a breach of a management contract.

Randy signed a deal with Elizabeth's Nashville-based management company five months after the couple's divorce in 2010; now Elizabeth claims that the singer "intentionally interfered with" her ability to manage his career, as well as the "effectiveness of (his) career in the entertainment industry."

She has also charged that Randy and his legal team terminated the contract without giving written notice, and that Randy "had a large truck, an armed guard and several other men" carry off computer equipment, recording memorabilia and other documents from Elizabeth's business office on Music Row.
