Randy Owen To Release New Single And CD

Randy Owen, lead vocalist of Alabama, is embarking on a solo career path with a new album in the works and a single, "Braid My Hair," scheduled to hit radio in two weeks.

"I'm as excited about this as I've ever been," says Randy. "Before I decided to do the solo thing, we put a band together and did some dates to see if the fans were still out there. When I came back, I was totally convinced we needed to do this." Randy's upcoming solo album, One on One, is due this spring and will be produced by Big & Rich's John Rich.
