RaeLynn Lands Deal After Appearing on The Voice

Texas teen really impressed—and won the hearts of—Blake and Miranda on the show.

Texas teenager RaeLynn didn't come close to winning on her season of NBC's The Voice.

But she did win the hearts of her coach, Blake Shelton, and her mentor, fellow Texas country singer (and RaeLynn role model) Miranda Lambert.

Now, RaeLynn has won herself a Nashville record deal—and with the same label group as Taylor Swift.

RaeLynn—like her hero Miranda often does—reacted via Twitter.

"Yayyy!!I'm so excited!" she tweeted.

RaeLynn's first public performance as an artist on Republic Nashville happens July 29, with some of her labelmates, at the NASCAR race that day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
