Keith continued his year of amazing success by performing on the show and also picking up the award for Artist of the Year/Country Radio. Keith thanked all his fellow nominees, who included Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw, in his acceptance speech. "Everybody in there has been a great help to me," Keith noted. Rascal Flatts performed an acoustic version of their hit "Bless the Broken Road," which went on to be named Country Song of the Year.
