Pop Group Loves Taylor’s “Pumped Up” Rewrite on Ellen

Every time we come on this show it’s really weird, really weird, all because of Ellen, Taylor and Zac sing.

Did you catch Taylor Swift and Hollywood hunk Zac Efron on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday (Feb. 22)?

The two were there to plug the upcoming animated movie The Lorax, which features voices by Zac and Taylor.

And on Ellen's show, Taylor said she had been teaching Zac how to play guitar—and then the two whipped out a couple of acoustic guitars to demonstrate Zac's new talent.

Turns out the two rewrote the words to the supercatchy pop song "Pumped Up Kicks" in the form of a, uh, tribute to Ellen.

Every time we come on this show it's really weird, really weird, all because of Ellen, they sang.

Turns out the original "Pumped Up Kicks" performers—pop band Foster the People—caught that performance, and the band tweeted to Taylor: "Nice one."
