Party for Lady A

Lady Antebellum celebrated the success of their No. 1 single, "Need You Now," at an industry party at the Cabana restaurant in Nashville, Jan. 13.

It marked the second No. 1 for the trio, Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood, following “I Run to You.” Lady A received commemorative plaques and honors from Country Weekly, ASCAP, the CMA and other organizations. “We’re gonna have to rent a truck,” Charles joked to the crowd. Later, Charles noted that, “We couldn't believe the response to this song.” That massive response includes 1.4 million downloads, according to Mike Dungan, President and CEO of Capitol Nashville, the group's record label. Following the No. 1 ceremony, Lady A performed “Need You Now” with co-writer Josh Kear and also sang their current hit, “American Honey.”
