Pack It Up, Casey James!

Casey James is flying high on the success of his current hit single, "Crying on a Suitcase," and the song's video, but how does he "carry on" when he comes under fire with questions based on the hit song?

What are five things we can always find in your suitcase?
Shirts, underwear, pants, a belt, boots.

Take a shortcut, take a back road . . . Back road or interstate?
Back road! You get to slow down and look around. That's the enjoyable thing, especially if you don't know the area.

Skip the parking, screw the ticket . . . Ever had a traffic ticket?
A parking ticket? No. A moving violation? Absolutely. I've had a million, but I've been really good for seven, eight years. Between 16 and 21, I got so many tickets that I had to be really careful or I probably would have lost my license. I like to go fast.

Hit the curb and leave it sitting . . . What's your worst driving habit?
I'll talk on the phone, and I think everybody does it, but I think it's unsafe.

They're gonna call her number, she'll sit down by the window . . . Window or aisle seat?
If it's a short flight, the aisle, but if it's a long flight, window, so I can sleep.

Admit it, boy, you blew it, you really messed it up . . . When was the last time you messed up and how did you fix it?
I don't know. I mean, people do things all the time. It might not be a big deal, but maybe I say something that I feel like hurt somebody's feelings or something like that, and I immediately apologize. I try to take the effort to be a good person. A lot of that is in the way that I treat people and so I'm really conscious of it.

It's all on the line, do or die time, gettin' on your knees time . . . What would you beg for?
I would beg for a guitar. I'd beg for music any day if somebody tried to keep me away from that.

Lose your pride while you can, come on, man, be a man . . . What are you most proud of?
Honestly, it's very difficult to say this without sounding conceited or vain, but I'm really proud of the person that I've become. I wasn't always the way I am and so I really make an effort and put a lot into trying to be a good person, and I feel good about that. I feel proud.
