Opry Kicks Off CMA Fest Week

Carrie Underwood, Trace Adkins and many other stars will hit the Tuesday Night Opry stage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, June 9, to help kick off CMA Music Festival week.

The Charlie Daniels Band, Little Big Town, Ricky Skaggs and Lorrie Morgan will also be part of the performing lineup. Shows are at 7 and 9 :30 p.m. Lorrie will be marking her 25th anniversary as a Grand Ole Opry member that night, while Ricky will be celebrating the release of his CD Waitin' for the Sun to Shine with an in-store appearance at the Opry Shop before the show. Top singer/songwriter Jeffrey Steele and new duet Kate & Kacey will perform a free Opry Plaza Party show outside the Grand Ole Opry House at 5:30 p.m. For ticket information, go to opry.com or call (800) SEE-OPRY.
