OPRY DEBUT FOR SHANNON LAWSON

Tonight, newcomer Shannon Lawson makes his debut at the Grand Ole Opry.

Shannon's debut single, "Goodbye On A Bad Day" is doing very well on the country charts, and performing at the Opry can only make things better for the newcomer's career.

Says Shannon: "I've listened to the Opry since I was a little kid. To [call the Opry] the Mother Church for country artists is an understatement. There are no words to describe the incredible feeling I have, knowing that I'll finally be performing on the Opry. I'll just say it is an honor."
