One Tree Hill Star to Release Country Album
Jana Kramer says she’s wrapping show first.
Teens and tweens know Jana Kramer as Alex on the CW Network’s One Tree Hill.
And as that show winds down, Jana is launching her country music career on Warner Nashville, home to Blake Shelton and others.
Fans got a taste of that back in February when Jana debuted a country song titled “Whiskey” on the actual show. And Jana was just in Nashville a couple of weeks ago for the CMT Music Awards.
“I have 13 more episodes of One Tree Hill left to film for the final, final season of the never-ending show,” Jana told The Tennessean, laughing.
“I’m happy to be moving in the chapter of something that I’ve always wanted to do, but this last season is for the fans, and I love them so much because without them I would not be where I’m at right now.”
If you go to iTunes, you can catch a few songs that Jana already has for sale. The album is set for release in the fall.
