NSAI Song Contest Begins Aug. 1

The Nashville Songwriter’s Association International (NSAI) has again partnered with CMT for the 9th Annual NSAI Song Contest, Presented by CMT, which kicks off Friday, Aug. 1.

The contest is designed to find and help develop exceptional songwriters and artists. Aspiring songwriters in any genre are encouraged to send their best songs to be judged by a panel of experts. This year's prizes include professional mentoring sessions with Kenny Alphin from the duo Big & Rich and Regie Hamm, 2008 American Idol songwriter. Entries will be accepted from Aug. 1 until Nov. 30. Details on submitting songs as well as the complete listing of prizes and official rules and regulations are available at nsai.cmt.com on Aug. 1.
