But because the rising star's love life is a favorite topic among his fans, he's decided to respond to the tabloid gossip and set the record straight. "For the record...no girlfriend," said Dierks on his website journal. "I haven't been involved with anyone in awhile. There's someone out there that I still miss and between that and being on the road 250+ days a year, it will probably be awhile before I'm able to see someone. Right now, I'm pretty focused on this band and the new music."
