No, Little Big Town Doesn’t Want to Go to Heaven Drunk

Seems some fans don't quite get LBT’s new single, “Sober.”

If you know and love the Little Big Town single “Sober,” you know it’s about someone who is “drunk” in love.

Well, it seems not everyone gets that. LBT member Karen Fairchild re-tweeted a fan the other day who posted a line from the chorus: “When I die, I don’t wanna go sober.”

Another fan replied: “LBT, is that the way you want to meet your maker on judgment day?”

“There’s gotta be a party pooper every time,” Karen tells ABC News Radio.

“If I was Blake Shelton, I would have blocked her. I would have said, ‘One, two, three, everyone block her.’ But I didn’t,” she said.

“I just let her think that I wanted to go to heaven drunk.”
