Donna Fargo’s classic tune, “The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A,” is being used in a new commercial for Nike, featuring the United States women’s Olympic softball team.

The ad began airing during the recent Summer Olympics, and includes footage of the Olympic squad mixed with clips of other softball participants enjoying the game on sandlot fields and parks. Donna’s song plays in the background of the commercial. Donna notes that she’s “thrilled” about the tie-in with Nike. “They just called my office and said that they wanted to use it,” Donna tells Country Weekly. “And it was just a nice little surprise. I absolutely love the way it’s being used.” The ads are still airing on various TV networks.
