Nicole Kidman is really, really glad she met Keith Urban and married him six years ago.

“He just gave me confidence through just being very kind to me and understanding me, opening me up to trying things, my sexuality, those sorts of things,” Nicole tells Harper's Bazaar.

And Nicole says she feels safe with Keith.

"I need protection," she says. “Everyone wants to feel someone’s got their back.”

Part of what makes Keith safe—he has been there, done that.

“Keith hasn't been in a bubble his whole life. It takes a lot to shock Keith,” she says. “I never have.”
