Nicole Kidman: We Needed Faith for Faith

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban offered some explanation of baby Faith Margaret’s name last night (Jan. 30) at the Screen Actors Guild awards in L.A.

“We needed to have that through the whole pregnancy,” Nicole told the E! cable network of the surrogate birth. “That’s what it required was a lot of faith.”

Oh, and by the by, please use both names.

“Her name is Faith Margaret . . . people call her just Faith, but she’s actually Faith Margaret, that Southern double name. Margaret is my grandmother’s name. She had her last baby at 49, so she’s my inspiration.”
