Nick Cannon Samples Band Perry for Anti-Bullying Song

The song is expected to be on Nick’s new album coming out later this year.

Have you ever heard of a rapper "sampling" a country song?

Nick Cannon—who doubles as host of America's Got Talent—uses significant portions of The Band Perry's breakout hit, "If I Die Young," in his new piece to combat bullying.

Nick's song is called, similarly, "Die Young," and it begins with The Band Perry song and uses it often throughout. A version already is up on YouTube.

Nick raps about the evils of bullying in the song, stating, among other things, There's no reason to tear others down just to build yourself up.

His album, which will include "Die Young," is expected out later this year.
