New Toby Movie Premieres

Toby Keith’s new movie, Beer for My Horses, premieres in theaters Friday, Aug. 8.

Toby stars in the movie, based on his hit song of the same name, and produced it through his own Show Dog Movies. Comedian Rodney Carrington, who wrote the script with Toby, co-stars along with Willie Nelson and rock icon Ted Nugent. Toby plays a small-town Oklahoma deputy who must rescue his girlfriend from a drug kingpin. “I wanted this to be a character-driven movie,” Toby told Country Weekly. “I wanted every person in it to matter.”
