New Taylor Swift "Sound" Has the Same Old Success

"I'm also counting this as another beautiful Christmas present," Taylor tweets.

Have you heard Taylor Swift's new duet with folk duo The Civil Wars?

The song "Safe & Sound" is on the soundtrack of upcoming movie The Hunger Games, and it's an intense, haunting song that has a really unique feel for Taylor.

Producers released it just before Christmas, and it's already showing signs of being a big hit.

USA Today listed it as the Yuletide "Pick of the Week."

And "Safe & Sound" has been battling back and forth with LMFAO's "Sexy and I Know It" for top spot on the iTunes singles chart.

"I'm also counting this as another beautiful Christmas gift," Taylor tweeted in reacting to the news. "Thank you for making 'Safe & Sound' the #1 song."
