NEW HALL OF FAMERS HONORED

Alabama, Glen Campbell and the late DeFord Bailey were officially welcomed into the Country Music Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Nashville, May 7.

Members of the country music industry honored the threesome at the annual Medallion Ceremony, where new members receive keepsake medals commemorating their induction. Kenny Chesney, who was part of the Alabama tribute, recalled that one of the first concerts he ever attended featrured Alabama, and that the group's "Lady Down on Love" is one of his favorite songs. Lonestar, Rascal Flatts and Sawyer Brown also took part in the musical tribute.
