Big & Rich’s John Rich will return as host for the new season of the hit CMT series, Gone Country, premiering in January.

John will once again assist a new crop of contenders as they take on the challenge to become credible country music artists. Contestants for the series' upcoming third season are Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner, funk music innovator George Clinton, Prince percussionist Sheila E., pop singer Taylor Dayne, actor Richard Grieco and former American Idol runner-up Justin Guarini. John will serve as a mentor for the stars as they work with songwriters to create their own country tune.
