NEW FACES 2007 CLASS ANNOUNCED

Rising stars Jack Ingram, Rodney Atkins, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and Taylor Swift have been announced as performers for the New Faces Show at the 2007 Country Radio Seminar (CRS), March 2.

The New Faces Show is one of the major highlights of CRS and marks a significant achievement in a new star’s career. The show allows the selected artists, who must meet several industry and airplay criteria, to perform for the nation’s biggest radio stations as well as influential country music executives and media. The members of Little Big Town—Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Roads and Phillip Sweet—made the announcement at an industry gathering Tuesday, Dec. 5. The group performed at the 2006 New Faces Show. “I remember that we were so excited when we heard that we were selected,” said Kimberly, “because for years, we would have to sneak into the show. It’s a great opportunity.”
