NEAL MCCOY SINGS THE OLDIES
Neal McCoy made his mark with country hits like "The Shake," but his next record may be an album of pop standards. Neal, who will perform New Year's Eve at the Stardust in Las Vegas with his buddy Wayne Newton, says he's always loved pop classics. "That's where my heart is," says Neal. "That's where my mind is. I enjoy country music. I enjoy singing some of the stuff that's in it. It's fun to entertain people. But my heart is [in] standards, and I will do that -- and, hopefully, sooner than later."
