Country stars respond with support for Moore, Okla., after a violent tornado touches down.
Nashville Throws New Year’s Eve Bash
Rodney Atkins will headline a free Street Party in downtown Music City as Nashville rings in the New Year, Thursday, Dec. 31.
Nashville will resemble New York City's Times Square with live performances, fireworks and a "guitar drop" instead of the traditional ball drop that marks New York's celebration. Food and beverage vendors will line the streets while corporate sponsors, including the newly refurbished Hard Rock Cafe, will also be out in support. Rodney Atkins will be the featured performer with GAC's Storme Warren serving as emcee. The festivities get underway at 7:30 p.m. at 1st Ave. and Broadway in front of the Hard Rock Cafe.
