Joe Nichols gave the Nashville Star contestants some good advice on Saturday night's episode, based on his hit song, "The Impossible." "No matter what happens, don't look at it as a setback -- look at it as a change in direction," said Joe. "Just keep going." Joe knows of what he speaks - he had two record deals before landing on Universal South, the label on which he now enjoys success. In addition to Joe's special guest slot, contestants competed and sadly, two were eliminated. Mal Rodgers, who came all the way from Ireland, was voted off the show by the judges, and Stacy Michelle was voted off by the viewers.
