NASHVILLE STAR PARTNERS WITH WARNER BROS.

The Nashville Star TV show has joined forces with a new record label partner, Warner Bros., for the upcoming 2007 season.

The new champion will receive a record contract with the label as part of the victory. Nashville Star, television’s only country music talent contest, kicks off its fifth season Jan. 11 on the USA Network. Pop star Jewel has been tapped to co-host the new season, along with returning host Cowboy Troy. Alabama’s Randy Owen, Blake Shelton and Nashville music industry executive Anastasia Brown are the judges for the 2007 edition.
