The new season of Nashville Star aired its first live episode, Monday night, June 16, and one more act was eliminated from the competition––singing trio Third Town.

Special guest star Trace Adkins performed his recent hit “You’re Gonna Miss This” on the show. On the next episode, Monday, June 23, the contestants will be given a new challenge when they have to perform a pop song, but with a country twist. Fans can vote for their favorites online at nbc.com or through special phone numbers. Nashville Star airs Monday nights on NBC-TV at 9 p.m. ET.
