MY BIG FAT COUNTRY ALBUM

Actor John Corbett, best known for his roles in the TV series "Sex & The City" and "Northern Exposure," and the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding, is giving up acting for a country music career. John, who's currently doing press for his latest movie, the Hilary Duff flick Raise Your Voice, says of acting, "'I can't do this anymore. I'm getting out of acting. I'm bored. I've been doing this for so long - I'm serious - and I can't do this any more." According to eonline.com, John has signed a deal with Broken Bow Records, which is also the musical home of Joe Diffie and Craig Morgan. He's currently recording in Nashville and plans to release an album next spring. John, who hails from Wheeling, WV, added, "I've saved up enough that I don't have to do this anymore. So, I'm going to do something I really enjoy now."
