Beer for My Horses, based on Toby’s hit song of the same name, will be released to theaters Aug. 8. “The movie is more of a comedy, a tip of the hat to Burt Reynolds,” Toby told the assembled media members. Toby stars in the film and also wrote the screenplay with comedian Rodney Carrington. “That was something I wanted to prove I could do,” Toby explained. “It was one of the most creative things I’ve ever done, and I had a great time doing it.”
