Move Over, Rachael Ray: Zac to Be TV Chef?

Zac Brown says he has started talks about doing his own cooking show.

Did ya know the Zac Brown Band is famous for its pre-show "eat-and-greets" for fan club members?

And it's serious stuff, more than chicken-fried: Fans are treated to lots of gourmet Southern cooking.

"This isn't just a chance for somebody to come eat a bag of nachos and some [Cheez Whiz] at a concert," Zac tells the Associated Press.

Now, Zac is talking about taking those skills to the small screen, creating his own cooking show. (Will he wear a beard net?)

"We've talked about it," Zac says. "We've filmed a lot of the stuff, a lot of the cooking elements of our stuff to possibly put a show together, and we definitely will do that one day."

If not a cooking show, there could be a reality show.

"I think our lives in general are just pretty entertaining, or would be for most people," he said. "Getting that good content together and presenting it in a way . . . and putting it out there, there's a lot of that to come."
