Montgomery Gentry Celebrates Twice

Montgomery Gentry celebrated the success of their No. 1 hit “Lucky Man” at two separate parties in Nashville, Aug. 23.

The afternoon kicked off at the ASCAP offices, where co-writer David Turnbull was honored. Before the festivities, Troy Gentry and Eddie Montgomery met with members of the media to talk about the tune, their third career No. 1. “This was our first to go No. 1 in back-to-back weeks,” Troy noted. “So, this is very special for us. The song also means a lot to me personally.” Later in the day, Troy and Eddie headed over to Nashville’s BMI building to celebrate with the song’s other co-writer, David Lee.
