Miranda’s Doctors Extend Vocal Rest Another Week

“I’m taking care of my voice and I can't wait to get on the road and bring you a hell of a show,” she says.

Miranda Lambert has postponed a second straight weekend of concerts after doctors ordered another week of vocal rest.

"I'm so sorry to disappoint the fans that have already bought tickets to see me," Miranda said in a statement.

"I'm taking care of my voice and I can't wait to get on the road again and bring you a hell of a show."

Shows in Georgia and Alabama were rescheduled for early October.

Meanwhile, Miranda continued her silence on Twitter as well. As of Wednesday morning (July 11), the usually prolific tweeter hasn't posted anything new in eight days.
