It’s the first time she’s returned to the show since finishing third in 2003. Miranda notes that she is especially excited about coming back to the venue that launched her career. “Nashville Star was the vehicle to get me where I am, and I definitely want to stay true to it,” she told Country Weekly. Miranda’s upcoming album, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, is set for release on May 1. On this episode, fans will cast their votes for the remaining eight contestants, as two were eliminated on the premiere show last week.
