Miranda Replaces Alan At Festival

Miranda Lambert will replace Alan Jackson at the annual Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colo. The promoter of the four-day festival, which will take place from June 24 to 27, cited a scheduling conflict as the reason for the change.

Alan's fans fans need not worry—the long tall Georgian will be the headliner for the event next year, on Saturday, June 25, 2011. "We regret any inconvenience this change may cause," Julie Schaefer, the event's marketing director says.

Fans who have already purchased tickets for the event have some options:

  • Keep your ticket for the show (general admission)
  • Exchange your ticket for a different day at this year's Country Jam (this option is available only for VIP and reserved seats)
  • Exchange your ticket for ticket to the 2011 festival
  • Request a refund by calling 1-800-780-0526

Other artists slated to perform at this year's Country Jam include Trace Adkins, Keith Urban, Billy Currington, Lee Ann Womack, Jake Owen, Gloriana and Danny Gokey.
