Miranda Lambert Just Needed a Little Rest

"I’ve been kinda goin’ 90 to nothin’ and it caught up with me."

Miranda Lambert’s voice rest is over and she’s ready to rock. "I'm way better," she tells CountryWeekly.com. "I just needed a little rest. I’ve been kinda goin’ 90 to nothin’ and it caught up with me.”

And while some folks noticed that Miranda’s tweets tailed off at the same time she was on voice rest, she says it was just coincidental. “I guess it was coincidental," she says with a laugh. "I guess when you rest you just rest from everything."

Meanwhile, Miranda's new video, "Fastest Girl in Town," debuts Monday (July 30) and co-stars race car driver Danica Patrick. "It's amazing," Miranda says of the video. "The whole thing is kinda like a mini-action movie."

The video, complete with high-speed chase scenes, was shot just outside Nashville in Dickson, Tenn.
