Miranda Lambert is well on her way to becoming the woman who can do it all.

Her latest endeavor will see the “Platinum” singer teamed with her “Somethin’ Bad” video director, Trey Fanjoy, who is co-writing a script with Cindy McCreery for a comedy film called Something in the Water, according to Deadline.

In the film, Miranda would play one of five women from different generations who challenge their male counterparts in a bass fishing tournament. The Deadline article says insiders are describing it as “in the vein of Bridesmaids and Steel Magnolias,” both of which featured strong, predominantly female casts.

Previously, Miranda tested out her acting chops on a 2012 episode of Law & Order: SVU, playing an aspiring singer who is attacked.
