While Aussie fans will still get to see superstar Alan Jackson when he makes the trek Down Under for a series of concerts from March 4 through March 12, they won't see recent Grammy winner Miranda Lambert, who was also slated to perform on the tour. The fiery Texan has been sidelined by a respiratory infection, according to an announcement on Miranda's official website.

Miranda was set to kick off the Australian tour with Alan Jackson this Friday in Melbourne. From her announcement on her website:

“I was very much looking forward to Australia with Alan Jackson and performing for all the music lovers down under."

Australian newcomers Jasmine Rae and McAlister Kemp will now fill Miranda's slot. The tour includes performances in Melbourne, Sydney and three shows in Brisbane, as well as a performance at the CMC Rocks Festival, where Australian country star John Williamson will replace Miranda.
