When Miranda Lambert and Pedigree came together, the world became a better place for shelter pets as Miranda adopted or aided in the adoption of fur babies around the country and Pedigree offered their support . . . and their yummy and nutritious kibble.

And now it’s gotten even better. Pedigree has launched the Shelter Renovation Project, and Miranda’s beloved Tishomingo Animal Shelter in her Oklahoma hometown was the first beneficiary. Miranda, her family and friends and more than 50 Pedigree associates from across the Midwest lit on the facility, which was in need of a little elbow grease and TLC, and cleaned, painted, constructed agility courses and petted, scratched and cuddled.

Pedigree will now continue on offering upgrades and improvements far beyond food donations, like painting, installing signing, repairing kennels and creating puppy playgrounds, to shelters across the country as part of the renovation campaign.

A tearful Miranda said, “I’m so happy to be working with Pedigree because they are as committed as I am to helping all these beautiful dogs find loving homes. I started supporting this shelter to ensure every dog in my hometown would have a safe place to stay and enough food to fill their bellies. And Pedigree has helped me deliver on both these promises.”

Take a look at the facelift given to the Tishomingo Animal Shelter by Miranda and Pedigree, and see how much it meant to the country star with a heart for shelter pets.
