Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood to Duet on Billboard Music Awards

Superstars will collaborate on “Somethin’ Bad” from Miranda’s album Platinum.

Don’t book anything for Sunday, May 18. Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood will perform live together on this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

The friends are set to debut their superstar collaboration, “Somethin’ Bad,” from Miranda’s upcoming album, Platinum, on the show. In a release, Ran says, “I’m a huge Carrie Underwood fan. ‘Somethin’ Bad’ is a meshing of our styles and there aren’t many female collaborations in our format so I’m really excited to be debuting it on the Billboard Awards.”

Mr. Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, is up for three Billboard awards—Top Country Artist, Top Country Album and Top Country Song for “Boys ’Round Here” with Pistol Annies and friends. And Carrie is one of the finalists for the Milestone Award, which recognizes a notable chart milestone from the past year. Luke Bryan is up for numerous honors, including the all-genre Album award.

The Billboard Music Awards air live from Las Vegas May 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
