Miranda: “I don’t mind having a big butt”

The country star tells Shape magazine that large derrières are back in style

Miranda Lambert has no problem with the body she has, as long as she keeps it toned, Miranda tells Shape magazine.

“I don’t mind having a big butt—they’re back in style. But I do a lot of squats to make sure my booty’s not dragging on the ground," Miranda says.

Other fitness/eating thoughts by Miranda:

  • “I listen to Beyoncé’s ‘Run the World (Girls)’ when I exercise. I picture her body and it makes me push harder.”
  • “My weight always fluctuates by 10 pounds. After trying Atkins and doing Nutrisystem a few times, now I’m just focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle rather than dieting."
  • “We eat a lot of fast food when we’re traveling. But these days, almost every restaurant has an alternative to that cheeseburger. I just have to remember to order it!”
