It’s all over but the re-signing for next season, but Blake Shelton says his turn as judge on NBC’s The Voice left him pulling hard for one of the contestants.

For those who watched the show, you saw Blake really moved when a contestant, Dia, sang with his wife, Miranda Lambert, on Miranda's huge hit “The House That Built Me.”

“I was mostly thinking about Dia. No more than two months ago she was about to give up on her dream of music and had moved back home with her mom and sisters in Utah,” Blake told Lon Helton of Country Countdown USA.

“I was so happy for her because I got so emotionally invested in Dia. I had never wanted to see something happen so bad for somebody who wasn’t family. Miranda wanted [success] really badly for Dia, too.

“Once Dia figures out what her plan is, you’ll probably see her and Miranda write together.”
