Did you know that Miranda Lambert's parents were once private detectives in Texas?

ABC Family did, and, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the network will develop an hour-long drama based on a family with detective parents whose children help them solve crimes.

We're not sure Miranda ever helped her parents solve crimes. We're not even sure Miranda's parents ever battled crimes. It's more likely they followed cheating husbands.

But hey, the show is only based on Miranda's childhood, right?

Miranda and her mom, Beverly, will serve as executive directors for the series, according to the report.
