Mindy Released From Jail
Mindy McCready, who was sentenced in September for violating probation from a 2004 drug arrest, has been released from a Franklin, Tenn., jail.

Mindy violated her probation when she was accused of scuffling with her mother and resisting arrest at her mother's home in Fort Myers, Fla. She had been on probation for fraudulently obtaining the painkiller Oxycontin at a pharmacy in 2004. Though she has been released from jail, Mindy must still serve two years' probation. Her attorney, Lee Ofman, assures that Mindy has learned her lesson and will stay out of trouble.
