The 34-year-old Florida native, who hit big in the mid-1990’s with “Ten Thousand Angels” and her only No. 1 single, “Guys Do It All the Time,” has made more headlines in recent years for her turbulent offstage personal life. She became embroiled in an abusive relationship and served time in jail on drug possession charges. Despite her personal issues, Mindy announced plans to record again in 2008. Now, she returns with her first studio album since 2002. Mindy performs the title track on the new season of VH-1’s Celebrity Rehab 3, which is currently airing. A streaming sample of the new album is available at mindymccready.com/music.php.
