MINDY LOOKS TO WITHDRAW GUILTY PLEA
Mindy McCready, through her attorneys, filed a motion on Aug. 22 to withdraw her guilty plea in a probation violation case because of new evidence.
Mindy had pleaded guilty to violating her probation after being stopped and charged with a DUI and driving on a suspended license, May 6, 2005, in Nashville. Now, according to the Tennessee Radio Network, Mindy’s relatives in Florida have reportedly found a document that shows her license was reinstated the day before she was arrested. Mindy was recently acquitted of the DUI and is scheduled to be sentenced in the driver’s license case Sept. 13.
