MINDY’S TROUBLES CONTINUE

Mindy McCready has pleaded guilty for violating probation on her drug conviction, one week after being found innocent of DUI charges.

Her arrest in that case violated her probation in Williamson County, outside of Nashville, for buying the painkiller Oxycontin using a fake prescription. Prior to the May 6, 2005, arrest, in Nashville, Mindy had committed a probation violation for leaving the state of Tennessee to visit her family in Florida. The troubled singer, whose past hits include “Guys Do It All the Time,” is scheduled to be sentenced on Aug. 22 in Nashville.
