Merry Garth-mas! Garth Scores 13th No. 1 Country Album

Walmart exclusive box set is a popular seller.

Garth Brooks is no stranger to the top spot on the country albums sales chart.

Garth landed there again this week (Dec. 4), but this time, he did it in only four days.

Garth released an eight-disc collection of cover songs and hits called Blame It All on My Roots, and he sold 164,000 copies from Thanksgiving to Sunday. And he did it only selling the collection at Walmart. No other stores, no online/digital sales—still No. 1.

Those sales were also good enough to put Garth at No. 3 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. He finished behind a new album from boy band One Direction and a nearly new album from Eminem.
